Financial Success - How To Make Money On Internet

Last night I joined a webinar hosted by the owner of Traffic Swarm.  I assumed it was going to be another insightfull look into driving traffic to your website or how to make money with Traffic Swarm.  Much to my suprise it was about list building and how to generate money from it. 

So I thought about the readers of “reviews and reports”.  I am assuming that most are interested in reviews of online products to help move or start a business online.  If I am right then this post is for you if not and you are just instrested in what I have to say then lets move on.

ALOT of folks are interested in making money online and the guru’s list you are on is probably making money from you or not.  Provided that you see some value or believe that he or she is seeking to give you value.   All of this I think, is based on how they market to thier list.  And how you joined thier list.  Ask your self, “when is this guy going to give me something else or when is he going to give me value like I was promised?”  The answer is simple,  if you get consistently bombarded with promotions from “the guru” or guru’s you are probably on a large list of thousands of people.  The guru may only be interested in your wallet or he/she does not know how to market.  If you are on a “good” list then you probably have recieved quality content with a few promotions here and there.

Think about it, if you offer good quality content in your e-mails to your subscriber’s then trust is built.  With trust are you not more likely to open the letter in your inbox or just delete it?  And if there is quality content in that e-mail then would you not believe and trust them more to buy from them?  The conclusion is simple, build your list in a valuable manner so that you can get more return from your list both intellectually and monetarily.

So how does one go about building a list effectively and then marketing to that list?  Well, offering a free e-book is one way.  But that may attract freebie seekers and when you offer a product for a price then that list may be unresponsive.  Another way is offering tips and advice on a regular basis for that particular market you are in or maybe an e-mail course on how to do something.  The key to list building is developing a relationship with your readers then they will be more responsive to your promotions.  Whatever you do don’t “SPAM” your list.  Yes they are opted in to recieve e-mails from you but if you only promote to them then they will not want to get what you have to offer.  Remember that “guru” that bombards you with promotions?  Do you buy from them all the time?
